I want your photography session to be stress-free, and I want you to reflect on your experience with nothing but good vibes. So I have made this guide to help you prepare for what to expect.
Be sure to share this guide with everyone participating in your session, especially your spouse!

The Experience...
Not everyone feels natural in front of the camera, and that is OKAY!
This is were my years of experience comes in handy. My best advice, just relax and take our hour together as an opportunity to unplug and be 100 percent present with the people you love the most.
You only job is to love on each other, so be ready to get CLOSE.
Don’t worry, if you get stuck, I will prompt you. But don’t be afraid to move and play and let me worry about the rest!
Outfits Matter
Tip 1
Start with mom. This session is your passion project—let’s make sure you feel incredible in what you’re wearing first.
Tip 2
Wear something you can sit in! I promise it's the most flattering postpartum angle.
Tip 3
Start early! Nothing is more stressful than trying to plan outfits at the last minute. If you get stuck, text me with your ideas or questions.
Tip 4
Coordinate, don't match. Choose a palette of 3-4 colors and mix in textures or subtle prints to add depth.
Tip 5
If someone hates what they are wearing it will show. Cookie cutter styling is gone, let personalities shine. If your toddler is in a rain boot era...let's capture that.
Tip 6
Lay it all out! Does the big picture work? Snap a picture and send it to me!
My Biggest Piece of Advice...
- Let kids be kids. Just roll with the chaos, I will find all the beautiful moments.
- Set the tone for them, they will follow your lead. So relax, be in the moment, and have fun.
- Make sure everyone has full bellies, being hangry is a real thing. Pro Tip...bring snacks that wont stain or be sticky
- Don't look at the camera, look at the people you love. These are always the most authentic smiles.
- Get ready to get touchy feely, connection always adds something to an image.
I promise, if you let go of perfection and trust my process, we will find the magic.
Tips for success...
- Movement is key to a good photography. Don't be afraid to move.
- If you don't know what to do, don't worry I will give you ideas.
- Smile through the chaos.
- In-home session? Please do not clean, I will reorganize as I go. All I need is one good window. Usually the spot will surprise you.
- Share with everyone participating in the session, especially Dads.
What to Bring Studio Edition...
- Bring a pacifier... even if your baby doesn't use one. Sometimes it is the perfect temporary distraction. Neutral colors if possible.
- Extra Milk- many babies are going through a growth spurt era. Having extra sleepy juice on hand can sometimes help.
- Extra clothes. Pee, poop, and puke happens alot.
After your session...
- The Grand Reveal- Pour a glass of wine, grab the tissues, and get comfortable! About 2–3 weeks after our time together, I’ll send over a custom cinematic slideshow of your hand-edited images. This is your first look at the magic we created—make sure to view it on your largest screen to take it all in.
- Select Your Collection- Once you’ve fallen in love with your story, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase your digital collection directly through your private gallery. Whether you want a few signature keepsakes or the entire story, the process is seamless and secure.
- Download & Share- The second your collection is chosen, your gallery unlocks instantly! You can immediately begin downloading your high-resolution files, sharing them with loved ones, and ordering professional-grade prints from my curated lab.
- Archive Your Memories- Your gallery will remain active for 30 days following your purchase. During this time, I encourage you to download your images to a safe place (and a backup!) and utilize your exclusive print credit to get those memories off your screens and onto your walls.

Final Thoughts….
For studio clients feel free to park in my driveway, my studio door is to the left of my garage.
No need to knock, come on in, I just ask you leave you shoes at the door.
Be sure everyone is fed and ready to go when you arrive.
